On 16 December 2025, a public presentation of the project idea for the Multifunctional Center at the Bylis Archaeological Park took place at the Municipality of Mallakastër. The event was organized by AICS Tirana and focused on engaging the local community, technical experts, and institutional representatives.

During the discussion, local community raised questions regarding the construction of the parking area on the former sports field and emphasized the importance of integrating the infrastructure appropriately within the urban and territorial context.

The Municipality of Mallakastër expressed full support for the project, requesting that construction begin as soon as possible due to its strategic importance for the area. Prof. Neritan Ceka highlighted the historical and cultural value of the park and the need for its proper enhancement.

The AICS Project Manager, Mr. Ilir Parangoni, presented the project’s progress and the importance of the multifunctional center for the local community. The discussion also included the proposal for a museum within the center, to better represent the Illyrian heritage across the region.

This meeting contributed to strengthening local community engagement, improving stakeholders’ understanding of the project objectives, and collecting suggestions for refining the design. The event confirmed high local interest and the willingness of institutions to actively collaborate.
